Black Rhino Launches 14 Wheels for Lifted Trucks

Lifted truck and off-road enthusiasts are a dedicated subculture geared to conquering any obstacle in their path. Whether it’s bombing a big hill or simply building the most stylish truck in your city, there is no limit to what lifed truck owners will do. So it is no surprise that big truck owners demand wheels that are big, bad and add some swagger to their vehicles. Black Rhino was created to deliver just that and has some pretty sick truck and SUV wheels that combine strength with style in high-performance wheels.

Black Rhino segments its product lineup as wheels designed to complement the rugged off-road attitude of lifted trucks and SUVs and equally tough looking custom truck wheels for more street friendly applications. The first group features a negative offset of 12 mm while the second classification is defined by a positive offset of 12 mm.

Typical of Black Rhino off-road styled wheels is the new Moab, an eight-spoke design that features a hard-angle V-groove in each spoke. Each spoke is visually connected to the outer rim with a prominent, heavy-duty hex bolt, and the outer rim itself is studded with an array of hex bolts. The Moab model is available in Gloss Black with a machine-cut lip, and Matte Black, either a perfect complement to the look of your stock or lifted truck, off-road vehicle or SUV.

“Lifted trucks, SUVs and off-road vehicles place extraordinary demands on wheels and each of the off-road truck wheels we offer, like the Moab, are built to take the punishment,” pointed out Black Rhino president Terence Scheckter. “And for those street warrior types, our truck wheels like the Traverse also evoke the off-road ethos,” Scheckter added.

Black Rhino Wheels are part of the TSW family of aftermarket wheel companies. TSW wheels was founded by a former Formula One racing driver and TSW has been involved in motor racing around the globe for over 30 years.

Black Rhino wheels will cost you anywhere from $150-$250+ per wheel. We think it will be interesting to see how much Black Rhino gets traction amongst the lifted truck community. They seem to have a following with lowered trucks and stock trucks, but we’ll have to see if that translates to big trucks. We’ve see a few others like KMC pull this off, but it’s not easy. So far though, we like what we see.
